The University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) serves more than 2,000 students – 85% of whom are South Carolinians and another 15% coming to the Lowcountry from 31 states and 7 countries. USCB offers 20 Bachelor’s degree programs with 38 areas of specialized study in the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Science and Mathematics, and the School of the Professions as well as Master's degree programs in Computational Science and Education Literacy. USCB Sand Sharks matriculate on three vibrant campuses: Bluffton (main campus); Beaufort (Studio Arts, the Marine Sciences, and the Beaufort College Honors program); and Hilton Head Island (Hospitality Management). In 2020, USCB was recognized as a top-producer of U.S. Fulbright Scholars.

When you give to the USCB Annual Fund, you allow us to use your donations to support our areas of greatest need.

USC Beaufort Fund

When you support the USC Beaufort Fund, you allow us to use your donations for university-wide growth projects and initiatives prioritized by the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of the Provost.

USCB Athletics Fund

When you support the USCB Athletics Fund, you allow us to support USCB’s student athletes and the academic, athletic, citizenship, and community service programs through which they achieve excellence on and off the fields.

Sand Shark Society Fund

When you give to the Sand Shark Society Fund, your donation supports campus-wide USCB Alumni projects and initiatives.

USCB Student Emergency Fund

When you give to this fund, you play a critical role in supporting student success during these uncertain times. More than half of our students are Pell Grant-eligible and work fulltime to make ends meet. During these uncertain times, many of them struggle with food and housing insecurity. This fund helps ensure no USCB student is forced to choose between their education and their next meal. If you have been searching for a way to make a difference, please give.
